Now all is well in the US!
Tülin Doğan, who evaluated the US market where the FIATA Congress will be held this year, said that in the second half of 2011, the policies applied that are successful, compared to the past, decreased the threat of a sharp global slowdown despite the increasing economic activity and the deepening crisis in the Euro Zone. Calling attentions to the fact that according to World Economic Outlook April 2012 Report announced by the IMF, even though the estimates regarding the world economy showed improvement compared with 2011, the downward risks will continue, Doğan said, “In the US, where the global financial crisis started among the developed countries, it is seen that the economy has a positive progress. However, in the event that the problems recurred in the Euro Zone in 2013 and that, additionally, if the financial policies in the USA suddenly narrow down, risks of continuation of downward risks is very high.”
Underlining that while improving the logistics sector of the developing international trade, firms are forced to be professionalized, Doğan stated the following: “In this context, in 2012 and after, in order to ensure a new balance in Turkey's economy and to realize the growth, it is gravely important to carry out the structural reforms that will increase the competitive power of our country, support the production and investment environment, and ensure that more savings will be obtained.”
